Blackjack !!! Whats All About it

Blackjack is the most popular casino game played in the world; it is famous in both real-house casinos and online casinos. The other names of Blackjack are 21 and Vingt-et-un (French name).
How to play blackjack: In the game of blackjack the dealer faces one to seven players and each players plays independently with the dealer. At the start of each round players places their bets in the betting box and then they are given two cards for playing.


The prime object of the game is to get the higher card total than the dealer but the total should not exceed 21, if the total get over 21 than it is known as busting or too many. The card counts of black jack are as follow the court cards jack, king and queen and the ten cards count as ten and the ace can either be 1 or 11. The value of ace depends upon the situation of the game.
The highest possible hand is ‘blackjack’ or the ‘natural hand’ in which the initial count of tow card are 21 i.e. the tow card are the ace and the ten value cards. A player having blackjack is declared winner automatically unless the dealer also has blackjack than in that case the hand becomes push or draw.

Some of the terms used in blackjack are as follow:

  1. Hit: It is term used to take another card.
  2. Stand: It is also termed as ‘stick or stay’ which means that no more cards are taken.
  3. Double down: On the first two cards which a player gets from the dealer may ‘double down’ i.e. ‘double’ his bet and receive one card facedown.
  4. Split a pair: If the player has the cared with same values than the player has the option to split the pair, than the dealer splits the cards to create tow new hands.
  5. Surrender: It is the position when the dealer had checked the blackjack; the player may surrender by giving up half the bet and not playing out hand.
